Personally, if I'm going to watch someone who knows very little and asks wild, unconventional questions, doing something?

I'd rather it be a kid than a grown-ass celebrity.

Double or Nothing tonight has a 5k capacity crowd.

Hearing them pop gave me goosebumps. Wrestling has missed wrestling crowds.

Yeah, I'm a MARK.

All the chairs are in the path of an industrial HVAC, and I never had cause to notice before.

I'm gonna go tell them I'm getting a Lyft or something.

I should find a different chair, though. This one's in the path of the industrial HVAC unit.

I'm at a big arcade for my son's birthday.

It's packed. We usually come weekday afternoons, when there are maybe 1/10th the people.

I'm sitting in a chair off to the side. I don't want to try to find a game I'm interested in playing. I don't want to walk the floor.

They sell booze here. I don't want to try and drink my anxiety away.

Orson's playing a game with his mom. I don't want to tell them that I need to leave.

Guess I'm just sitting here. Or going outside to vape.

wrestler AEW / trans

Its been really joyous over the last year or so to watch the AEW women's fan club clamour en masse for Sonny Kiss to be included in the girls night stuff, that recently she has now started putting She/Her in front of He/Him on her pronouns on twitter and now changes in the women's locker room though still wrestles in the male division.

I miss hearing Benedict Wong say "Our grandfather, Chingis, who was descended from a wolf!"

I miss "Marco Polo". The cast wasn't whitewashed, the locations and sets were AMAZING, it attempted to inject some genuine elements of Mongolian culture and tradition (even if, y'know, it was never perfect.)

I understand that it cost A LOT; I always thought it was worth it.

I ordered myself a keyboard today. It arrives Wednesday.

I also got LMMS working on my Mint partition, and maybe in a while I'll figure out how to get my JACK latency lower 🙄🤷🏼‍♂️ before the keyboard arrives

Bureaucracy is not my idea of a good time.

But dammit, I will wend my weary way through it.

I really appreciate articles, posts, etc. that make me consider how I might handle new situations and interactions without being an asshole.

Because let's face it: when we're taken unawares by the New To Us, it is ALLLLLLL too easy to have good intentions and offer poor reactions.

Every chance I get to think about a new idea before I maybe stick my foot in my mouth is worthwhile.

This is a really good article about #SuperStraight and The Insidious Discomfort With Trans Women In Public Space | by Kat Blaque |

katblaque.medium.com/superstra

I, among a bunch of other people, encouraged her to publish it somewhere after she started a conversation on her community page on YouTube. I'm so happy I now have an article to share with you all.

these are resources for blocking some of the yuckier websites from appearing in your search results

Isn't it annoying when you're searching on Google or Duckduckgo, & the top results are hate groups, conspiracy theories, phishing, & the same Pinterest post over and over? Or when you end up on a web page that you would rather not have touched with a ten-foot pole?

I just finished this project that helps fix that. These files have lists of more than 28,000 urls that you can paste into url blocking browser extensions. On Firefox, I recommend the extensions uBlacklist (to block them from your search results) and Whitelist-Blacklist-Blocker (to block you from accidentally visiting them).

This project is not for childproofing the web. It's more for queer adults like me who don't have time for TERFs or other nonsense. The "about" file in the folder gives sources for where much of the list came from, such as from Southern Poverty Law's list of hate groups, and Media Bias Fact Check's list of pseudoscience sites.

Enjoy your better-quality web search results!

Black people are having a lot of strong conversations about race and their lived experience in the US over there, too,

and I'm not trying to butt in and speak on those talks 🤐

Believe it or not, I've actually been part of some fun, engaging conversations on Clubhouse!

They were all about pro wrestling, of course. 🤷🏼‍♂️

More COVID-19 research

According to new studies:

• ✅ infected, 🔲 vax: immunity isn't forever
• ✅ infected, ✅ vax: maybe increased immunity to new strains; not everyone
• 🔲 infected, ✅ vax: you'll likely need a booster, which is fine 🤷🏼‍♂️

This headline is clickbait shit; the article does have the above info.

Dang. I just finished watching the 12-episode original UK series of the 8-episode US series I watched two? days ago.

How will I be entertained now? 😥

Boosts +!

Hey y'all, I'm (slowly) working on a free zine about DIY at-home sticker making, where to find paper, types of coatings, things like that. What kinds of questions would you want answered in a zine like that?
